2026: The Year of the Horse - Lighting the Way
As we step into 2026 - the Year of the Horse - we’re reminded that strength isn’t loud and momentum is earned. In Celtic tradition, the horse symbolized purpose, endurance, and knowing when it was time to move forward. That same spirit runs from Irish stories told over tea to the long, hardworking roads of Texas. At Gluttony Candles, we’re carrying that energy into the new year - lighting the way with intention, warmth, and steady forward motion.

Finding Light in tough times
2025 hasn’t pulled its punches, but I’ve learned that finding light in tough times often starts with the smallest rituals - like lighting a candle. Watching my dad push through setbacks taught me resilience, and today scents like Palo Santo, Verbena Citronella, Black Currant, and Hearthstone remind me to breathe, reset, and carry on. A flicker of flame won’t fix everything, but it can spark calm, hope, and strength.
